Carolee created Carolee Specialties in the early 1990's while working as a freelance consultant. During her travels Carolee met many creative people who were working during their spare time creating their products and struggling to get to various venues on weekend and evenings to show and sell their creations. Carolee created a website where artisans and small business could advertise their products and network with each other.
In 2001, encouraged by her clients, Carolee opened a small gift shop in an art and crafts Mall in Northern New Jersey. Due to the down turn in our economy in 2008 the Mall owner closed to renovate the entire Mall. Carolee suspended her business until early 2011 when she decided to create these websites and offer the many products on these sites at various local venues, including house parties.
In this difficult economy our goal is very clear. We are gathering people who are offering quality services and products at affordable prices. Although we are located in Northern New Jersey the " magic" of the Internet enables us to bring these unique and affordable products and services to you regardless of where you are located in the country.
